ELN was great, BIDU caused grief!

I posted in these threads my first 5 months of trading or so, then stopped for about 5 months. Figured I'd start up again on a very good (for me, at least) day.

Another two hour trading day for me. Caught two ES moves and traded only ES for futs.

Two trades today EUR instead of 1 normal trade:

EUR/USD +600

EUR/USD +90

You lost 990 on your first day? At this rate if it takes you 6 months to become profitable you'll be down $124k. Might want to slow it down a bit there chief.

As for myself, clobbered very hard and fast in that LOCM. Down 3900. Not pleased.

I worked for a hedge fund for the last three years and for a mutual fund company a few years before that. I did lose more than I wanted on my first day but I also followed my discipline pretty well for it being the first day out on my own and feel comfortable given my strategy and my account.
