Pretty slow volume this past week, slowest of the year. But it seems that the really ugly trades are coming less often, which is welcome. Past several days since last update:
1/19: $3381 on 336k shares
1/22: -$577 on 311k shares
1/23: $1280 on 299k shares
1/24: $3860 on 292k shares
1/25: $93 on 327k shares
1/26: $8343 on 306k shares

Ok who got pimped in cfc today? My goodness. Stock rallies on a bullshit rumor from 40.50 to 45 and at that time, there is not a soul complaining. Then after the stock is up 5 points bofa comes out and says the rumor is false... stock falls to 43 and still the news desk geniuses have no idea why it's falling. Then it's at 42.50, and then they come out and say that it's falling because bofa denied the rumor. And then, prudential decides to say that they don't beleieve the rumor either. Well, where the F was prudential when the stock was running up 5 points? They were buying!! And where were they when the stock was falling 3 points? They were shorting! Once the dust settles they all make useless calls...I pray to god that these crooks go to hell.
Oh, and I didnt lose a penny in it, but my buddy was buying and averaging down all the way from 44 to 42.50, and then he hears the news and he dumps it at a tremendous loss. And then gets short right at the bottom thinking that if the rumor was false, then the stock "should" go to 40.50 which is where it started. Logically it should but crookedly not...I feel awful for him..
The lesson here is that no one is your friend in the markets..The only friend is technical analysis....It's the only weapon we have against the crooks.
