today was a good day.

However I averaged in to CSCO after hours and currently am down $1500 on 1500 shares.

after hours looks scary.

My AG short carried over from yesterday worked out well.

Still getting used to trading via IB and while I like TS DOM better I did save a lot today in commissions.

Also trying my first EFP today with C. I will 'c' how that goes when the future expires. after commissions of 50 cents that 5.4% annualized is probably about 3% but thats why I only tried one to start

Lots of shares traded for the day now that I have doubled the amount per trade. Not much in terms of trades given to me but they were all profitable.

(If you add up what the screen print says it will show a larger profit than actually had. after calling IB they said it was the java version i am using and I need to 'downgrade' to a lower version)

+2378 for the week
+ 3290 for the month

end my 7 day winning streak with a big loss

first day using the hotkeys and was having too much fun, treating them like the buttons on the slot machine in the casino.

i can be reckless at times, gotta watch out!!

Got killed this morning, then left and did not trade the afternoon. My system did not perform well and I did help it a little :-(

Was up +9pts ES by 10:30am and called it a morning.

Just took one more short trade from 1475, market traded down to 1472 (+3pts unrealized in favor), trailed my stop to 1476, came up thru my stop by one measly tick and then promptly tanked to 67.50 straight down.

Volatility is nice, but can be damn tough to hold stops even when we know where the tape is more probable to go. I'll keep what was caught and call it a day.

Markets may go wild this afternoon, but I'm ahead of pace to hit objective +100pts ES for the month. More importantly, the whitetail rut has begun with big bucks running all over the place here. Time to grab the bow, climb a tree, ponder the meaning of life (again) and enjoy the fall nature scene unfolding in front of me.

I'm a bit disgruntled with this day. I was having a decent day, but I gave back all my profits. I also missed the entries on some great trades and had a frantic mess with some keyboard errors. I'll be really pissed if I go negative, so I'm going to shut it down.

Anyway, didn't do really well for the day, -49ish..

I started trading around 10am and wasn't aware there's a system problem with the execution..so my order stucked..blah blah..

and then my psychology went disaster..

Anyway, work on my psychology, tomorrow should be good
