make a stupid mistake , short when I want to buy ,cut 250
rough week so far:
9/24 +200 on 23k shares
9/25 (-1700) on 16k shares
9/26 (-1200) on 3k shares
9/27 (-200) on 32k shares
After 9/17 I was up 6k net for September. Now I'm down $3k net. I'm up slightly gross but it won't even cover my ecn/taxes. Tkt average about -$1.20/1k shares after ecn/taxes, before commissions.
I'm definitely struggling and trying to get back in the groove. For October, my goal is to keep losses under $400/trade, $700/stock (per day), $1000/day. If I am able to keep my losses within that or even close, I should be ok. I'll try to make $1500 a week and $8k for the month.
Nobody said trading was easy. I'm fairly undercapitalized and I hope I can pull it together before I run out of money or time.
