Couldn't agree more. Similar points questioning the numbers were raised in the first Trader P/L thread:

and were best answered by Szeven when he said:
Quote from Szeven:

I judge peoples blotters based on their posts in other threads and how much continutiy there is between everything they say on the board. Reading Steve's posts in many threads, there is extreme continuity. Everything he has posted leads me to believe what he says.

In any case, I don't want this to turn into a never-ending discussion. No one in this thread is selling you anything and no one here has to defend/explain anything they don't want to. There are 1000's of threads at ET, and if this one thread annoys or offends you then please MOVE ON. Thanks.

Maybe this thread is too harsh of a reality check for some. The truth is that lots of guys are making good coin in the markets. It's always been that way, no matter how much complaining there is of low volatility, program trading, pennying, etc.

Personally I don't bother posting regularly because I trade in up to 6 accounts and it's just a pain in the ass to do a screen capture of them all.

The truth is I'm pretty consistent in the $2k/day range, but running a bit better than that the last few months. I'll personally vouch for Patrick as he has for me, he's the real deal and every bit as consistent as his blotters show.

Here's today's trading, pretty quiet as I was out most of the day. Did a few hundred in the other accounts, traded about 115,000 shares total.

I quit earlier to do some stuff, but an appointment I had a 11am was changed to tomorrow, so I traded a little more. P/L is about the same, but I made a few bucks back. Still a losing day. Missed and misplayed many opportunities.
