+1842, caught a couple energy stocks off the open and then just added little bits throughout the day.
Nasty day. Got my head kicked in from the first fill. At one point I had managed to make money in 1 out of 11 stocks traded.
Was able to trim the loss quite a bit so no biggie.

well got raped by the market today...and it feels like they used a zucchini......i should have pimped myself out as a leading indicator for the S&P cause when i went long it tanked...and when i went short it flew up.....it was a great day -1800!....i would post my blotter but it only had red on it and its way to embarrassing.......hope you all had a better day than me!

Should not break day-trading rules to hold overnight. This time, I made a few dollars back, but it really caused me some stress during night. Never got it right to bet on this. Last time I remember I hold a lot of longs was 6/23/2006 when DOW was down 166. I thought it was way oversold. So, I hold all losses. Then the second day, the market was down huge again DOW down -123. Sure I lost huge. Yesterday, maybe I already forgot the lessen. I hold shorts and thought the market overbought, the market should come down somewhat. But after hour, the future jumped and Japan market flied more than 3% gain. Luckily, this morning GDP was reported slow, I got chances to cover all my shorts. But I did not. Instead, I covered the winner HUBG. After I covered, it went down a lot more. I hold ADEX and USPI, but both of them went up high again. When they finally came down a little, I covered. After I covered, they continued going down. This made me feeling really bad.
Today's day trades are ok. Only short CMI was a total failure.
