Well folks, I have come to a decision about something I had been thinking about for some time. I came into 2006 with a monetary goal in mind based on 2005. I hit that goal in Sept so I have decided to take some of my earnings over my "goal" as risk capital to try and elevate my trading. I am going to take 5K and see if I can put it to good use with a new strategy. If I lose it all, no big deal. I will go back to the way I have been trading. If I am able to gain some trading skill by applying something new, 5K will be a pittance to what I can make in the future. I think the time has come to try this out.

As a result, I will not post P&L for a little while. Its been 2 years of consistently posting so its time for a break.

i am doin' the same since monday, am tryin' to learn how to scalp properly, small for now, max 300shares but after goin' torugh a few rough paches durin' the first days it seems to work out. i still have a huge issue with hesitation...hope to be able to overcome it.


took a hit on ma and exp at open and came back from 300+ losses scalpin' both stocks durin' the session. nice fills today.

100bucks positive today, last few days i took a beatin'....down for the week.

Got nailed on the LMRA down move - thanks for the shortable rights. Dont you love it when you know its going to crash and you cant go short.

Tachyon I agree on the shorts, would have made lots of extra cash on that one. Believe it or not 2/3rds of my day is LMRA on the long side, on bounces after that big drop.
Posting a little late but I really don't feel that well today either, back to bed for a bit.

Nice day Mil Man - shorting is becoming a real problem, more of a frustration factor then anything, i have been taking tentative longs on stocks I am sure that are falling for fear of massive drops like today, tough to always be right on the longs especially when your bias is to the downside and you know the bottom is gonna drop any minute.

Crazy migraine from today!!!!
