+4200 new personal best.... stupid system locked me out for my loss from top so now i got to sit here wishing i was trading.

I was up $175 on my first trade, then proceeded to lose it all. Came back again and was up $300. Then I lost $200 again. I was going to call it a day and keep my $100 profit.


Then I got some good trades that brought my confidence back. Made back my $200 and more.

I was really smart today - finally. My trades were very deliberate, and I traded very cautiously. I traded 20 stocks today - more than usual, but the usual volume. I did this by keeping most of my trades on 100 share size. I had two or three that were 500 shares, GILD, WFMI, and one other I think.

My swing trades are going ok, except of NTRI - that took a nice 1200 dive on me today, although if it stays true to its past performance, it will be back tomorrow :::::crosses fingers::::: horizon on it is mid Feb.

My paper trading in forex isn't so bad either. I have 6 positions, the first being bought on Wednesday. My lot sizes aren't that large, 500k at most. I'm up 10.6k currently.

Didn't trade well 2nd half of the day. Today's lesson..... philanthropy sucks.

+1621, caught some nice moves in ACL. Hes a tough stock but had a nice selloff in the morning.

Didnt trade too well today, but made 900 on the open and that helped a lot. All in all ill take it.

Trading tiny share lots seems to be working better for me than using larger ones. This is a decent day for me.

Notes on this thread: I was disappointed to see all the crap that showed up on this thread over the weekend. Let's keep this thread what it was made for: to post your P/L with your blotter. Make a little comment on your trades or day, but that's it. If a discussion is necessary please do it outside of this thread. Also, post everyday or don't post. People who show up once every few weeks with a great day are pretty worthless.

great entries. but still got the same old problem. limited gains (at least 50% less) due to premature exits in days like this while tending to hold loss to the end of the day like last Friday. should have hold to the end of the day bad or good.
