Trading SPY as a newbie? One word....Don't.

I am fairly new, but was put on spy after trading on microsoft for 15 very successful days. I was only put on spy because it was recommended that I trade it because my skills were increasing quite fast.
Spy is quite fast, but I have been able to handle it for the past couple of days, and did okay actually. I don't have the blotters to post, but one finished at -9.5668 net at +59.0000 gross at 122 trades. The other day was finished at -25.9332 at +79.0000 gross at 162 trades.
So I am definetly getting the trades in, and my keystrokes are quite fast. I just got caught today, thats all.
I appreciate your feedback, and will be careful for sure!

estranger a little advice. if you're trying to tick trade any stock you're wasting your time. the spy's move almost in tandem with the futures and there's barely a milisecond time delay. if you want to tick why not tick the es's?
