Trader P/L 2006 Questions and Discussion

First off to set the record straight I was making between 800 to 1000 a day before I left swift I didn't post everyday. I trade a reoccuring pattern that happens in the market day in and day out, so how can I not make money. I've bagged my elephant, and he pushes me and shows me how to be a better trader. I could tell you what I do step for step and I bet that you would make a hell of a lot more money then me probably cause your more skillful at entering and exiting large positions without causing large movements in the market. So instead of saying my blotters are BS, do your homework find something that works and bag your elephant. And in reagrds to losing days, I should never have a day under 5k to me now thats a losing day. By the way automation is a great and wonderful thing.

I noticed you are "NYSEKILER". Nice try, although the real NYSEKILLER has been extremely quiet throughout this whole bashing.

when he said he was gonna go back to posting his $500 a day blotters, i figured it was the beginning of the end. he knew his demo would be expiring soon, and needed a way to explain away the soon-to-be sharp reversals of his obscene P&L's.. so "applying this model to longer time frames" was the best explanation he could muster, lol.

actually, it's even less believable that a firm would let him swing that kinda volume overnight.. no matter how much "insurance money" he put in the uninsured prop account.

I thought it was hysterical that some guy goes from making $5000 a month to $50,000 a day...and then says,
"This might be my last post, thinking of applying this model to longer time frames (days) more money to be made."

WHAT??? Was that a joke? Some guy making a couple hundred dollars a day starts making $50,000 a day and then wants to change his trading style!!!!

I'd like to thank whoever came up with the idea of the P/L thread.
I'm a huge procrastinator. When I said I'd start posting to the thread I hadn't placed a trade in months. The fact that I committed to posting to the thread has improved my discipline by making me accountable to something. It's too easy to just sit back and post on a site. I completely forgot about the rush when I have a position on. Hopefully it'll help me improve. I already started a diet to lose some weight so I'll have more energy.

Anyway, I just wanted to say....thank you!
