r-in, thanks for the heads up. yesterday, i had +1700 accross the accounts, but today I finished nearly -2000. today, for the first 30 minutes, I lost in every darn trade i made. CSC whacked me hard on the opening for nearly 2.5K, and then I turned to the REITS for follow thru on their gap down and shorted the first move up in them, as the 10 yr rate shot thru 4.5%. yet, the market rallied and the REITS followed and I lost again in all of these positions, so by then I was down -4K. was going to stop for the day, but put my head together and was able to make back 2K before the close. lets hope for a better day tomorrow.

From what I researched it shouldn't be a problem and I went in and manually deleted the file. It's a Virtual Machine bug that is detected, but harmless for the version of VM I have as Microsoft all ready had a patch out for it. Running a 2nd virus scan to see if it's gone anyway. Still really Pissed off though.

[EDIT BY MAGNA:] I've removed the post/link and banned the culprit. I'll leave this post sitting a while longer so if anyone got nailed by the virus/trojan pls contact r-in as far as removal since he seems to have figured out how to get rid of it (rather than start an off-topic discussion here). Thanks.
 
up today, but as usual i left a lot on the table. i need to work on improving my exits. starting trading the QM contract today, i like it but it slices & dices like a crazy butcher. anyways my eyes are sore from staring at the DOM all day/night....zzzzzzz.....

could have done better....
what about restricting your trades to a number which is less than your average number of trades and put a profit target a reasonable one for those trades....will that bring some value ? any ideas

although this may not look like a stellar day, I probably traded the best I've ever traded today. Notice my positive gross. It's the first time I've had positive gross since I started. Should have made over $1K today but got out of a short and 5 min later it tanked 10 cents. Oh well...I'm getting closer :)
