I think what we are doing on this thread is great. It would be helped if we opened up more so people saw there is not some crazy magic to it. I think it just boils down to hard work, practice and using tools that work for you. You will notice that hardly any of the guys that are on this thread who make dough on a consistant basis are doing it because of Metastock or TradeStation or other popular commercial stuff that is sold to the masses. These are the kinds of things that people need to know.

i disagree with your underlying statement, as there are numerous things a trader can pull from this thread, namely to see that a trader can make money day in and day out without losses - with just 1 number.
like i had said before, when i saw this in a trader in 2001 for 1 year - day in and day out .... it was critical for my developement as a trader. i did not see what stock they trader (trying to back engineer) but saw that someone can make money daily as a trader . IF i did not see and believe that it could be done back in 2001, i am sure i would not be a trader today.
plus, simply being able to say hi, for me with some of the guys who post only 1 number ... has once again been motivational.
we see what we want, especially trading.
