I admit one of my main problems is holding trades to develop more. When you start at swift they 'teach' you to make the spread and do it 28390218 times a day. Knowing that this is exceptionally gay and not transferable to my own money i have tried to do more real trading, but i have a tendancy to sell to early. For instance i had 1000 short at 13.28, but i flatted it because i thought it might go against me a few cents... turns out to be 1 cent off the high. THat may have just been lucky, but it underlines the fact that i dont hold trades nearly long enough.


SOmething to work on for sure.
 
I hear ya man, the great thing about trading is that there is always room for improvement. It sounds like you are doing well and I am sure if you stick to your game plan and are consistent, its only a matter of time before you step up your size and also hold to catch bigger moves in the right set-ups.

+436 today. Never thought i would be disappointed with over 400, but i clearly should have had more today. Was catching the opening moves on MU almost pefectly, and made a bit of cash on SCH. Then i managed a $150 hit in SCH, and churned away to finish $20 from my high made around 1030am. Best stat from today was that i made none of it from gimmick trading, all natural moves. Been working hard on trading moves not scalps, and trying to push up the share lots.
 
here are my winnings, and just a side note. Talked to Serge today from Genesis, getting a laser demo tomorrow. Maybe I shall be a new genesis retail client soon????hmmmm
