+23 today. Battled back from a loss on KMI (what was i thinking/doing?!?!) of $100 early. Felt like the whole day when i was greedy i was too greedy, and when i wasnt greedy, i should have been. Need to work on position sizing and scaling out for sure.

Got the volitility reeled in on those arbs, today, and got yesterday's reit profits back. Best non-gap, trade day, I've had....+$25.6K MTM today across all accounts.

Had more, but threw it back, after I got wipsawed after the fed meeting.

Those are some good daily numbers. What general strategies are you trading? You seem to be able to pull in the big numbers without the requisite down days.

Risk arb, scalping, various other discretionary trades....multiple systems I've used for a while that come together to create consistency.

Yesterday was quite volatile, for what I'm used to. MTM I was up only 3500, but booked realized profits of 20.5k (and had unrealized of -15k, and another-1500 or so in other accts). Today, MTM was 25+k, although booked was only about 6300 & unrealized of about +5k.

For my type of trades, MTM is the appropriate measure. So, if my account realized is much different than my MTM, I'll clarify it. Like yesterday, I realized 20.5k.....but by account was only up 3500, so 3500 is the correct number to give.

These really aren't standard daily's for me. Usually it's 3-5K/day.
I've been trading some serious volume lately, thus the larger than normal numbers.

PS: CONGRATS ON YOUR BIDU EXTRAVAGANZA! THOSE WERE NICE IPO DAY NUMBERS! :p
 
after taking last week off and missing all that bidu action, i wasn't gonna let today's IPO's go by untraded. ROLL and COLY were pretty much snoozers, and being that i'm a notorious volume chicken, i didn't do as much with CMED as i should have.

still a good morning, tho.
