risktaker, i stopped trading the healthcare stocks on opening orders a long time ago, as they played way to many games. i agree with your comments.only a couple trades today in EUR & JPY (+75). I will not trade the currencies tomorrow per the jobs report as my stats shows that i tend to lose with a report like this.

patrick

anyone trading currencies intraday, that use multiple contracts, and different ways of exiting, i would love to ask a few question. any takers ... thanks!

I like this P/L forum walk the walk thing so I'm going to post mine for the day. Yesterday I lost $600 but today is better since there was some news to trade. I think my net is around $2k in this picture but it was in the middle of the day and i'm not up much more atm... missed a huge move

Very Nice!! Punch them keys!!

So far as been a good day, and a good week. Made about 5500 today. Coulda made more:(. Put about 3500 up on tuesday, and made 4500 yesterday! Nice to get some movement and VOL.

Good trading to all!

Mike

wow,

just out of curiosity, what is your BP? :D

from looking at your blotter, it seems you should be able to negotiate for a better commission rate.

sammy, nice trading. i see that you consistently make money trading the Qs.
thanks, Echo. yea, i love the Q's more and more everyday. i'm getting a real knack for trading them successfully. i may get to the point of that Mark Rosalbo guy and only trade them.

as far as today, 13,100 shares traded. i was down over $2,500 when i woke up. it was the first time in a while i regretted taking stock home. it kept me from trading a little more aggressively.

i lost 6g's yesterday. the moral of the story???? don't play merger arbitrage and expect to make profits before the EOD.
i'm sure you can guess what stock(s) i was playing but in case you weren't watching the news I'll tell you I got long on PHS at 79.00 after the halt.

lesson learnt.

mnx

Here's a better lesson mnx, learn how to "trade" before straying off from your joke of a strategy arbing the millenium book. What in the world made you think you had the skill to do anything else?? You fully deserved to lose $6000 and probably more. The ego on these swift "traders"..................

I think you messed up on your post, your blotter seemed to not attach. oh wait.....

Have you comtemplated trading futures? If you can read the qqqq's well, you should do well with the nz futures.

He has a good point sammy. Futures offer a significant tax advantage over equities. So much so, that I am working hard to adapt my trading style to futures. It's a different beast, IMO, but for the tax savings, it's well worth the effort.
