got rocked on CIEN on the close... i forgot to how to read an imbalance.... (it was to the sell side not the buy side...) i had to get out of 32000 shares after the close, (close 2.5 cents...)

Ive had a few bad days since i last posted.

End of last week i did

Wed -118
Thurs +29
Friday -40
Monday +89

Still learning of course, but this was below the $100+ streak i had going of around 4 days previous to last wednesday. I do feel i get better everyday as i experience more, and ive been trying a few new things that have been working very well, just need refining with practice.

no EUR or JPY trades today as i did not get any tradeable signals. last 2 days, intraday market swings in these instruments have been none existent.

equities ... came back mid-day after losing $350 on opening orders.

i would feel a lot better about today's action had i not lost so much on friday and monday. i'm pretty much breakeven these last 3 days.

I am wondering how many of you who post your blotters here use some form of automation for your trading and/or scanning products? Seems that most here trade 100K+ shares per day so I figure everyone must be automated? Anyone old fashioned traders here who only watch a handful of stocks everyday?
