Thought there is more to go to the downside.

Added couple more to a losing position, afterall you are better off with more contracts when it does go your way.

What I was risking got a little too much, thus I gave my stop a bit more room to not get shaked out.

Prices exploded up, and went up a lot more than what I was willing to lose. Same old story. If you risk too much more than what you are willing to lose, this is where you end up.
 
80 points is a hell of a wide stop on 10 lot cowboy.
I never risk more than 20 points on a trade and if I lose 20 I shut it down for the day. Discipline is the key in futures and with program trading, you are just asking to blow up without having a physical stop entered as soon as you are in the trade.
 
Took profits before I hit my stop loss and should have stuck to it because I would have been up alot more. I can't complain to much, could have been down.

Still pissed. Was up all day....the reits spiked much harder than the rest of the market, at the close....and amex had 1x1's all the way up....so I couldn't cover with ARCA (IB doesn't have full on ARCA-ex.). Cost me $5k. Time ta get some better routing options.

MTM -1.1k, realized about 2.1k.

Well getting 2k CPST at 4.25 in after hours yesterday worked out pretty good when Cramer pumped the crap out of it on his show. Dumped it in pre market for a 1 point gain ($2000)

The rest was good old blood sweat and tears.

+123 today. Was up 180 around 2, and fell back all the way to -29, but had some good trades late to get some money back. Gross was over $320 today, i made a ton of trades and paid a whopping amount of fees. Opening was bad again today, 3 days in a row losing. I will give it 1 or 2 more days untill i cut down my size again and consider making some changes to the strategy.
