Would one be able to get high speed internet piped into their 'home'. For example in Freeport? Can't see trading fo a cyber-cafe!
Or what about getting Bloombergs/cnbc for example?
Anyone else considering relocation to an Island or other "exotic" locales, given much thought to Net speed? I'm not a day trader (but this year considering incorporating it into my trading plan), and yet speed is utmost importance. Wouldn't it be even more so for a "day trader" ?

Assuming you could pick up and move anywhere in the USA and continue trading where would it be? I've been thinking quite a bit about this lately. My list has warm weather, favorable taxes, low probability of Natural Disaster and some moisture. Unfortunately I haven't figured out where Trader Heaven is.

How so?
Anyway as far as the US goes, I would imagine that Nevada and Florida have favorable tax considerations. If you want paradise, Hawaii wouldn't be bad if you can handle the hours. Cost of living may be somewhat higher because of the tourists though.
