Trader Girl Forex Trades

Well, TZ, post some of your calls then. It shouldn't be too hard to post them since you work on the trading floor. Please enlighten us with what works and that is proven by a major institutional study.

Lines are just lines. They could be fibs, pivots, trendlines, high/low, market profile. It doesn't really matter, as long as they give you a trigger to enter the trade. It is commonly used as a point of reference to determine risk/reward ratios. Not really a hard concept. I know I use my own lines to trigger, and they work for me. Besides, I can see it as a complimentary component to Amy's system of using a relative strength pairs system.

Why you can't accept this? I have no idea.

Major Institutional studies also claim that TA and short term trading doesn't work. Now what? Should we all just give up daytrading and follow Warren Buffett's buy and hold strategy?

Which Investment Banks? GS? MS? MER? UBS?

If you really are working for one of those Banks, why bother spending your whole day responding and arguing to someone else idea? You should be working and making money for them. If indeed is true you are using Bloomberg terminal to make your trade calls while browsing internet, lol, you will get fired buddy. I hardly believe your boss would notice. Hopefully s/he won't notice. Unless you are at university.

Sorry, I don't really believe you, 'cause usually if you are using Bloomberg pro on a trading floor, they would expect you to use it for trade. If your excuse is to search information, Bloomberg has already everything in there. At my place, on a trading floor they lock other application and you can't browse internet. I see you have 2,690 posts on this forum. So it's wise to get back to your desk and not lose your job. Cross your finger mate, hopefully tomorrow won't be your last day.

What other financials? To be honest, I never heard insurance companies are into trading currencies. That's something new to me. I'll ask my friend tomorrow. He's a trader at GS. :)

Quote from TraderZones:

IBs does not mean Interactive Brokers. It means investment banks.

Insurance companies: Bonds, currencies and other financials. Bloomberg terminal based.

cabletrader, is there slight chance you could really shut up? I mean, what is your point dude?

a) what suggests he uses aliases? you accused me of the same...what axe you got to grind aside the fact that you have way too much time to kill....

b) Amy's success is NOT proven as you claim. I dont say she does not make money, but she has not proven she has got real trades behind it nor a long enough track record to say the 70% bet rate is sustainable. Again I dont claim she is not for real but there is no proof out there at least.

c) can you please just stop it, you were not even addressed why do you keep on defending Amy like a small teenager in love?

Rest it and keep on listening to what Amy has got to say, alright?

Quote from cabletrader:

Seems to me like TraderZones (or whatever he's calling himself this week!) is protesting just a little too loudly, is there a bit of reverse psychology going on here maybe?

As far as I know he (nor any of his many aliases) have ever posted a live trade or a statement or a trading blotter, and he refuses to accept amytrade's analysis challenge. There's absolutely nothing to suggest he can actually trade let alone trade profitably, unless of course you take his word for it.

amytrade on the other hand has a proven successful system. If any evidence of that were needed it's right here in this thread, trading levels and analysis posted well in advance and easily verified.

So there's TZ, vigoursly antagonising amytrade accusing her of talking garbage, being a newbie, a mathematical maladroit, a papertrading pauper, and of using "proven quackery and having little clue what works". It all sounds to me like a desperate attempt by TZ to get amytrader to divulge her strategy in detail.

TZ if you really need a succesful trading strategy that badly have you ever considered maybe asking politely instead of going through this charade, your approach obviously isn't working. It might not get you anywhere but at least you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you didn't make yourself look like a complete twat!

mate, I even have a bloomberg at home, so what? What does that prove now? Instead of making enough money trading so i can afford one instead you discredit me? But exactly that you do...you know, some of the guys who try to come across being very cool in here chat in other threads how they trade their micro lots. Those are maybe really not the big shots they want everybody else believe they are...just a friendly hint...

I dont know TZ and dont care about that dude but each time I asked the guys to explain their setup/studies in here I got attacked in turn....funny ;-)

lol, you already got ripped a new one over on this thread, and now you're making an arse of yourself here too!

TraderZones has many aliases but don't let facts get in the way of you trying to make an argument, they've never seemed to before!

Amytrade has posted plenty of analysis in this thread, most of if has proven correct, what more proof do you want? Perhaps you would like to post some, or maybe a statement or a blotter, all we've heard from you is what a big city trader you are but no evidence of such.

Now unless you have anything sensible to contribute to the thread be a good little troll and go back to reading or dreaming your fantasies instead of crying like a bitch all the time.....but have a nice day :)

Suprise suprise. The KNOW IT ALL trader refused to take my challenge. I now have absolutely NO respect for this fool, this charlatan.

Hopefully since he has NOTHING positive to share he will disappear and let me post my analysis in peace. I never once claimed I'm the best trader, I know a dozen who make a lot more than I do and I'm sure there are dozens if not 100+ on here who do better. I've run into a psychological size barrier that is preventing me from doing better but I'm happy with my life, have no debt and make more than I need to live on and save the majority of it. Again I don't WANT to manage money, sell my signals, sell any product, just want to discuss what WORKS. If you don't believe some of the stuff that works for me works then please keep it to yourself.

I am interested in learning other methods or ideas, other support/resistance areas I don't use now or possibly have never heard of!

Here was my analysis last night. I've never said I was 100% and I use real time tools to confirm or deny my assumptions of strength or weakness plus age old and SIMPLE methods of analyzing highs/lows, how markets behave at support/resistance levels and of course trend tools I use.

-----------------

I've been trading forex for close to 3 years and do nightly analysis to give myself an edge and to focus on which pairs I feel will go up and which down.

If I feel a currency will be strong I find close support and look to buy there IF in real time its not too statistically weak. Reverse for shorts.

That being said I anticipate EURGBP, AUDJPY, EURJPY, AUDUSD, CADJPY, EURUSD,USDJPY, NZDJPY, and NZDUSD to go up or find support on mild pullback. I mainly trade these IF they stay above hourly 20 period simple moving avg and have strength. Reverse for shorts. I feel USDCAD, GBPJPY, GBPUSD, USDCHF and GBPCAD will most likely go down with the latter ones the weakest.

EUR/GBP Buy 0.9214 to .9200
AUD/JPY Buy 65.60 to 64.41
EUR/JPY Buy 127.39 to 127.00
AUD/USD Buy .6550 to .6543
CAD/JPY Buy 77.06 to 77.00
EUR/USD Buy 1.2907 to 1.2879
USD/JPY Sell 99.34 to 99.57
NZD/JPY Buy 51.78 to 51.50
NZD/USD Buy breakout of today's high and .5259 to .5250
USD/CAD Sell 1.2795 to 1.2800
GBP/JPY Lightly buy breakout of today's high and heavily short 138.00 breakdown!
GBP/USD Sell 1.4100 and aggressively 1.4131 to 1.4150
USD/CHF Lightly sell 1.1900 to 1.1923 and sell breakdown of 1.1800
GBP/CAD Sell 1.7900 to 1.7923 and breakdown under 1.7775

Here's my results. The currency I felt would be strongest certainly was EURGBP exploded up after having a NR7 day yesterday. I'm a big believer in Crabel's volatility work and use it often.

AUDJPY I posted wrong number should have been 64.60 to 64.41 and I'm long AUDJPY as we speak with first target at 64.80 and second half at 64.95. Time will tell but looks GOOD.

EURJPY went up like I thought

I was wrong about AUDUSD, and CADJPY fizzled.

NZDJPY hit my buy area and I'm now long this one too, wish me luck.

EURUSD exploded up like I thought and I was right about NZDUSD's lows.

I was right about USDCAD's direction but it didn't hit my sell level.

I did VERY well shorting GBPJPY at 138 like predicted last night.

GBPUSD went down as predicted.

I did very well selling USDCHF as predicted at 1.1800

I didn't take GBPCAD short but I was right on this one too.

Ok so once again I've proved I know how to analyze the markets and while not 100% the wins being huge and small losses is how I make money.

I think I may try that other forum for awhile. I've been told by many on here that real traders congregate there and I certainly hope so.

To those who defended me and believed in me I do appreciate it. I may come on here every so often and if dumb a$$ disappears may continue on this forum.

going to T2W? Lol, I thought something funny going on. So, you now leave because someone does not want to put up with your "challenge"? Is your ego hurt? Sorry then, better to leave some place else to get upset with some guys over there who may be too critical for your taste. Oh, could you do us a favor and take cabletrader along? thanks a lot and happy trading.

Awww bless, didn't the big city trader get the strategy he was after? Never mind eh, maybe you could think up one of your own instead of leeching off others :)
