TradeMavens New Deal!

Quote from MacroEvent:

i talked to TM today and they said everything with Transact stays the same for now
---

As a Transact customer using TM as a front-end, I hope this will not be a typical phasing out thing happening? like Trademaven
for a transitional time still supporting the subscribers using other fcm's (Transact), but eventually will stop doing so as they upgrade their software and their
elocal business takes off???

Oh, saw above post with link to elocal's site (their account docs), and gather that they apparently clear with Transact. Haven't done any further research so don't know the
excact business model.

But I guess what I basically want to know, is if I as a Transact customer,
can expect Trademaven to be available as a front-end in the future - not
only the next 2 months but "permanently"? And will it be with the excact
same support and continued development of the TM platform when you're a
"direct" Transact customer and not going through elocal? i.e. will elocal
customers and Transcact customers get access to the excact same version of
TM's trading-platform product as they continue develop and upgrade their
product in the future?

great questions as i will be in the same situation, i have several accounts with Transact using TM and i will be following this new merger news carefully.

i will talk to "Rasa" in the IOAMT room tomorrow and see if he can shed more light {Billy and Rasa help co-develop volume and market profile related tools with TM}.

I never had any problems with Elocal's J-trader BUT transact-
feed is even better.

Would be a shame to not to be able to use Transact anymore for
Trademaven platform :(

Hello,

I currently trade thru Greenstreet which uses TA DATA FEED. I looked on Greenstreets website today and they removed TM as a a platform they offer customers :(. Not sure whats gonna happen there dammint!!! I will call them on Monday. All ways some kinda crap that happens lol.

Has anybody read the "official" press release?
http://www.trademaven.com/compliance/tmelocalmerger.pdf

In one paragraph it sounds like TM will be available "exclusively" to eLocal clients.

And then there is talk of PropMaven. Is TM to become a stepchild?

And finally, they talk like they want to take on all trader training firms.

As a monthly standard subscriber, clearing thru RCG w/PATS feed, I'm getting a bad feeling about this.

good --- i like competition.

i know the TM crew at the Vegas Online Trade Expo will have all the details of whats ahead ---- some other good features also! :)
