Tradelink users? Issues?

Here is a very funny real example of how the developer answers question with his "always perfect answer":

Hi All,

I run responses with VS 2010, (added DLLs to project etc..) and always get this error: "A project with an output type of class library cannot be started directly"
I tryed right click on solution exploler, and set start up project, but no solved.
I tryed antother computer, same problem.

please help!

You will avoid this problem by using Glean (and thousands of others).

I cannot find out a link to that page, just search in the official board then you can see this real joke and a lot more similar answers in other questions.

I finally find out the best way, even very time consuming, is building my own system.

I am not building a HFT system so I still can handle it, it is still much faster than figure out what is going on with tradelink with no support and documentation at all.

As I mentioned before, amibroker is good for simple stuff but it has its limit once someone wants to do more than simple stuff.

I do not know why you are so married to Amibroker but please keep both your feet on the ground.

Example? Alright here we are and I hope you can show me how do you solve all of these with Amibroker:

AFL cannot handle the "most complicated algorithms". You need reasonable work-arounds and maybe you show us how AFL handles a matrix inversion without having to link up to external libraries. Also, how to implement multithreaded paradigms? How do you handle database access to those dbs that are not supported out of the box? How do you connect to unsupported broker APIs? Right, you need to code an interface in a compiled language!!! And how do you implement a simple Kalman or Particle filter? AFL is what it is, a scripting language in order to avoid having to learn a programming language and as it is based on C++ (well the whole engine is) there are components and ideas that look familiar to someone who knows C++. That is all to it. It comes with all the limitations that most other scripting languages suffer from as well. But again how it is implemented is extremely smart and sleek.

Welcome to shut the F up if you cannot show solution of all of these above with original Amibroker without add-on.
 
Nonsense (which in fact is just parroted applesauce of the lunatic hftvol) doesn't get better if it is repeated over and over again.

You can do everything (also Kalman, Particle, ..., filter, matrices, ...) with pure AFL except things like encryption (AFL is open source!) or e.g. creation of data plugins! For things like data plugins (or anything) you can use AB's SDKs (C/C++/C#). So free choice.

.... 99% of formulas can be handled just with AFL. But for some super-fancy stuff or e.g. if you want to e.g. encrypt your formulas then coding/compiling custom functions in C++ will be the best way to go. C++ and API will also be useful for development of custom data-plugins, as this is something that can't be handled from AFL.

Fact is that you are a double dealer who is looking for help at the AB forum (because you can't even code simplest lines of code as witnessed at the AB forum) and talks blah blah at other places. So your expertise is equal to nil.

If you want to have something being coded that you can't code yourself (for obvious reasons) then hire any freelancer out there or send a request directly to AB themselves. Their hourly quote is $80 AFAIK. You must be out of your mind expecting someone doing free stuff for imprudent wannabes acting as know it alls.

And for the record I'm neither married to a software nor affiliated with any software vendor out there. I just can't stand double-dealers and trolling wannabes.
 
Hey you just say "AFL can do everything" doesn't answer or mean anything. Show us AFL codes! If you cannot show us how AFL codes can solve all the issues I raise, you prove AFL cannot do those.

If you want to prove AFL can do all of these, show us AFL codes, it is the only way for you to prove you or AFL can make all of these happen.

If you or AFL cannot do it, you keep saying "AFL can do everything" is just a joke and we can see this fact.

Show us the example, show us the codes, kid.

You don't even type one line of AFL code to prove you can do any of these and say "AFL can do everything"? AFL is not powerful just because you keep typing "AFL can do everything".

I already show you the examples of what AFL cannot do, there where is your example with codes? Show us some codes, kid. Do you understanding what I am saying? You have no answer for all my challenge for you and AFL, look at what I said for what AFL and you cannot do. If you cannot do all of these, then just accept being a loser with AFL together.
