up 84 in the small account challenge (sac)
I took my first losing trade today in the account. yes all the others where winners. I also got long on the close and exited early at about break even because i was running scared which is never good. all in all not a bad day for this SAC.
acct at $ 2001 NET of all fees and commissions
up 17.7 %

bu first losing trade i mean a total open to close loser. this does not mean per 1 lot. it means from an open point of a trade to a close point of a trade which could include just 1 lot or multiple lots. this one unfortuantely was a 3 lot and i had to rebuild back spending more time on the SAC than i wanted too! but it was a challenge
 
I am doing the exact same thing as you but my experience is a big part of my edge. my read of the market and my other skills and this is all just skills like playing poker with someone who is more skilled. except in trading THEY have superfast machines beating us a lot of times.

Am i happy with todays performance.. HELL NO! it was terrible eventhough it was positive.
 
I have a meeting tonight but i am open to answering some questions when i get back if you have some but my answers might be wrong for you or your situation there is no holy grail and there is no one way of doing things in trading. find your own way but if i can facilitate a lil then i will but again my answers or what i state should never be taken as gospel and i tell myself that when im thinking to myself.
 
this week has been sleep deprivation week! not sure why maybe the full moon cycle who knnows anyway got a little last night ready to rock and roll today! i work almost daily on a certain defineabkle skill in trading. i dont want to get rusty because i something isnt workign right now that might work again in the near future or worked a few months ago. it is a mind game as far as which strategy has the highest probability of success.

The mkt strenght has been phenom IMO and ithe nq is coiled pretty tightly and there are arguements for up and down. i say higher today early then lower at the close. i am still worreid about some end of the year selling i mean how many % do they need to lock in when things must be pretty good or they mostly missed the big nq rally off the lows in march and have been chasing each other higher for job security at some point we will get a solid sell day.

I am for my stock portfolio startng to buy some vix slowly.,. very slowly. i fi lose money on this vix that is ok. it is insurance. ]

fyi the sell off in ES yesterday could have very well been 1 or 2 massive positions or massive hedges being unwound. i find it interesting that traders see how low the liquidity is in all of the contracts and then do not suspect that it only takes a few big algo players with enormous position size to rock the mkt directionally especially right before the close. like most animals or most warfare you do things under the cover of darkness for secrecy. you make trades during time periods where noone would suspect anything when you are mobing 40,000 contracts maybe more. when you lift a hedge cuz you have been short and wrong on tesla but right on the nq and the sp500 then maybe now you thinking.
 
look to sell into this rally indexes .. i had a nother kernal blue screen event! up to on the sac though all of my orders were serverside so i was a ok! still scary though
 
due to the blues screen event which should be fixed this weekend i missed out on that big upside move but i mad ei tup on a couple shorts.
so far today and it is FRIDAY!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

i might cut out early my chunk was made already
