without giving away too much, how would you describe your trading? is it price action? volume? support/resistance? indicators? DOM?
and what do you mean by multiple styles?

couldn't sleep!well europe opens soon so maybe some trades in the nq or es afterall.
i am open for questions always. doesnt mean what i do will help you or what i say is correct but multiple styles means i will continue trading mainy mnq and mes but i might write a call against the index or maybe buy some options in other commodities like the vix or lumber maybe trade the gains just branch out.
styles= scalping short term day swing med term to short term swing trading for the week and then long term almost never sell
My trading is a mixture of everything you said but you left out 1 major thing.. intuition or gut.
very few ever talk about the gut feel and the gut knows what to do way more than your brain does. the brain likes to compute stuff and act like it can figure everything out and be ready for anything but thats not really true when it comes to survival. it seems like in any serious situation with short time frames your brain actually shuts down at least the thinking part that is and it just becomes all of its energy everything into fight or flight or guts and instinctual behaviros that are not logical at all.. but this is where if you can find how to tap into that resource and learn to trust it along with your charts and doms and price action then maybe you have a winner!
I use a dom i use charts i keep up with the news in broad strokes and I ALWAYS HAVE A BIAS ! however the bias can lead me down the wrong path but thats ok it makes enough when its right to make up for when its wrong.
Don't be greedy. don't be stupid. take breaks. think about the opposite.. if you want to buy take 3 seconds and say.. how would i feel if i were to sell here right now ? never stop learning which means re read books keep studying charts turn off cnbc .. ihavent had it on in 10 years. learn about animal behavior and tracking this way you can start to notice foot prints in the mkt. like the one that hits around 2 pm sometimes it is a take ALL massive accumulation algo. your computer fan will wind up because this beast is just sending out massive messages and gobbling up any sellers who try and get in front of him. you cannot stop that one.
Learn about trade engines and how the priority works and keep up with your books
Make sure you get lots of rest. my worst days are when i just dont sleep. it is not because i am in a bad position it is because as i am lying in bed tonight.. i close my eyes and i see my chart from today and instantly i am awake my brain working out moves and i gotta come checek and see if indeed that would have worked or kept me out of trouble.
This is tuff trading right now. Volatility changes so rapidly intraday on purpose that it is hard to get behind anything with any size and as soon as you do boom they tank it against you as if they know its you! in the beginnig i ruffled a lot of feathers because i knew they could see my orders and know what im up too.. i swore it but then one day as i thought i was DEMO trading and making loads of money i then realized holy shit.. this was live!! and then i understood that so many of these demons of the mkts these monsters in the closet are just ways to keep you scared and thinking. they really arent that bad (BOO!) you gotta trust the mkt you gotta trust and believe in yourself even when they show you everyday that you suck because you lose. you just gotta change what you are doing or leave it for a month but never stop thinking about it. think about how it works and why when not trading. when trading just let your instincts take over and trade. manage your fear. stay small and practice practice practice. it is a lot of hard work and it is never ending.

had a computer crash issue.. kernal error i think i must have a bad ssd or one that is filling up too rapidly! luckily i was not in the mkt. i gave back a lot today on this account from my profit stand point but made some back i am slowing down today on this due to my eneergy level. it is important to understand where you are at on the day as far as triedness and clarity. anyway here is one i just did. i wont make it a habit of showing charts too much but here is the 5 minute with some buys
