that was interesting. did my first trade on the platform and because i did not log out and then log back in for quotes it actually let me trade off of delayed quotes?
lost 6 bucks and i hope i can move the dom around on its own pop out window.

obviously i am a lil frustrated since i dont know the platform at all!!
 
i did not realize i was using the phone app or cloud platform on my desk top. Tradeovate does have a desktop stand alone version for windows and mac. they also on the platform have a chat fucntionality that has been extremely fast to ask questions and get answers. so far so good but i need to get used to the platform and while i was dicking around with it i missed that beautiful sell in the es!!

I gave back some on my live account that i was warming up on as my small acct challenge.
i am up 92 net after all fees for the day.

in the tradeovate account. i made up the 7 dollar error trade in the nasdaq and i made up the 9 dollars for top of book quotes so I am at 1,699.77. I will post the account equity weekly or daily.

I am downloading the stand alone version but I am very happy to have live quotes on my phone and access to the tradeovate cloud platform if i am away from the office.

LOL! my palms are sweaty and i can hear nothing which means i am nervous trading on this platform and let me tell you it was a comedy of errors over here in the last 20 minutes becuase i thought i was buyng mes and i did but then i sold an mnq and the rest well i had to make up some cash anyway i am done for the day on this mini account until i can get the platform figured out tonight and i set up the stand alone version.

still successful though! up 20.55 @ Equity $1720.55

one thing i noticed right off the bat with this tradeovate was the low low low commission rates because thats like an enormous lamprey draggin you down and this black friday special was a great offer and a great move by me to jump on it.

interesting how hard the sp500 fell i would look to sell shallow rallies tonight in globex trading. i am a seller of nq and es tonight
 
this was kind of cool on the tradeovate platform they have trophys for when you accomplish your first winning trade etc. I am not paid or sponsored or anything by tradeovate or any other platform that i use just an FYI.

here is a screen shot of the trophys on the platform. i hope to get all of these by the end of the week.

My setup and it is overkill. i usually end up trading off of 1 screen and using 1 screen for a chart or 2. i try and keep it really simple.

6 (28 inch monitors) 2 are 4k and 4 are HD
2 computers and 2 keyboards and 2 mice.
AMD ryzen 1600
32 gigs ram
500 gig ssd
250 gig ssd (dedicated to main charting trading platforms)

back up keyboards

You can NEVER, EVER have too much storage space. And the 6 monitors help. I like it.
