Trade Timeframes

Curious to know where people stand.

Somewhat related, do people generally agree or disagree that good trading systems can be applied regardless of timeframe?

Each trade will be profitable in a different category of timeframe, depending on circumstances and character of the thing traded.

Profits on the day of a company earnings conference call, will be in a matter of minutes or hours. Profits on a penny stock will be in a matter of months or weeks.

My largest profit from a trade came from Long-term trend following using Turtle. I held a Soybean position for 4-5 months and did well.

But I do better trading intraday Index Futures (NQ) swings and trend. Each profits are smaller but with the frequent trades, I out profit within the time span.
