Trade Strategy for Anticipated Trend Day or Range Expansion Day

Hello Elite Traders!

If you expect there to be a sustained trend on a particular trade day or a substantial expansion of the normal daily range - but are unsure of the projected direction, what would be the best trading strategy using futures to profit from this projection.

If the vix is below 20 and last day's range, not counting the overninght, was rather big, expecting a small range day is high probabily.

That is one of the good probabilities.

Some derivatives markets are full of people who dont study trends much at all [real estate for example] ES has so many,,,,,,,, best & brightest, its more difficult, even with long term trend study.
