Hi guys

I was thinking about opening an account with TS but I don't see any newer reviews about the TS software.

I will be day trading stocks only.

I would like to know how their execution has been lately and about their software's stability.

If you use TS please post the pros and cons so I can know if this broker is for me or not.
 
Software is very stable. The graphics are good.

If you are auto trading, the language is a little goofy.

The execution costs are higher than other brokers.

I use both TS and IB. All new development is on IB, but I still use TS because I have it running and my data sources are tied into it.

I wrote my own code in Java to trade IB.
 
I've been using it for several years for charting and happy with it.

Last year I was offered free platform and emini & stock data as long as I keep my account open; no minimum trade requirements. See if you can get the same deal.
 
I've been playing with the 9.0 platform for a few months. So far it's the best backtesting platform I've used, but I'm no expert.
