Such simplistic formulas are likely to dampen productivity.

If I have a 20 cent out, and I have 1000 shares... means I'm willing to take a risk of 200$. If I find a seldom setup with risk =10cents/reward>40 cents I may buy 2000 shares.

Try writing down various r/r scenarios... size management will appear more of common sense.
