Trade For A Living - Day Trading

Well, YOU "totally agree!" with what @Handle said, INCLUDING...

No one mentions the benefits of "day trading".

Don't be a dick, Jordan.

I agree with Handle, yes. But I am still not holding my trades overnight.

And for calling names, please go to another thread! Thanks!

Day trading/scalping, life goes by and you are sitting staring at a screen. Really lose our own life.
How do you lose your own life by day trading? What do you do that you consider not losing your own life? Playing golf? Watching sports? Gardening?

In my previous life, I decided that losing my own life was spending my days at the corporate office thinking of ways to make rich multinationals richer. Fortunately I came to that conclusion before I got old and worn down by the stress.

Life goes by regardless of what I’m doing. To be honest, I find day-to-day living for me to be mostly mundane. It’s not a complaint; I realize I’m in a privileged situation.

If trading intraday wasn’t available I would need to find some other activity to take its place. I’ve been monitoring the stock market daily for so long, I don’t know what else I would do. I don’t like golf or watching sports and I have others doing my gardening. Chess doesn’t compare. I have to admit finding a replacement that I enjoy as much would be very difficult.

Greubel Forsey GMT Tourbillon, $425K
The dealer of this watch and his location are both in Los Angeles,

What job? I haven’t had a real job in decades.

Money wasn’t an issue even when I was working. But you would be surprised how fast the money goes when you have more. I have a lot of mouths to feed, figuratively speaking.

And the taxes are ridiculous. I keep saying to myself I’m going to move to a place where I pay only one level of income tax but I have too many ties here for now.

My lifestyle is simple. I don’t own any watercraft and I fly commercial, business class internationally.

The most important thing for me is I spend the day as I choose to mostly. I don’t need to trade to keep up my lifestyle.

So that means you have a silver-spoon in your mouth, and were born into money. You have zero validity on this forum now. Lol, what a joke.

Well whatever you call it, job, home based business or other souce of income, it sounds like it fits you perfectly.

I feel the same way about my speculation, although I have a longer time frames as I enjoy doing other things.

I’m not into watches. I don’t wear a watch or any type of jewelry.
