It is nice of you to try raising the level of discussion, but you need to recalibrate your expectations of what you can accomplish on this site.

You will be more effective working one on one or with a small group locally. I don’t know about the people in your area but in my area no one needs to be persuaded that trading is viable. Just the opposite. I find people are very interested and ask a lot of questions.

And not to mention that this site is not what it used to be. Back in the early 2000 (when I first signed up with my alter ego), people actually came and shared their ideas, if not a true passion for trading. These days, there's nothing of value but only criticism.

Jordan, don't waste your time here trying to help those who are otherwise ungrateful. Let them have it their way, cold and meaningless existence.

It is simply important to me to demonstrate that losing trades do not only result very often from bad management (hesitation, getting in too late, missing concentration, and so on). All this does usually not take place when you back-testing a strategy. But it will happen!View attachment 288013

I mean, you even admitted that your username is not the one you signed up with in 2000. Why did you change it? Why? What's the point? Who were you before, in between 2000 and now?

Okay, you have a fair point. But this ain't no trading journal that requires real time trades. Being someone who's not a stranger to posting real time trades, which I've done for a very long time on ES Journal thread, I don't see what the harm is for using a demo account. In fact, I often tell fellow traders to pretend that they are on demo. This actually frees them from all the mental constraints. Anyway, all the negative criticism far outweighs anything the OP offers by way of his enthusiasm for day trading.

I don't see what the harm is for using a demo account.

Posting from a demo account is fine, if you declare it up front. And also post a full daily blotter at the end of the day of all your trades so as not to hide any losing trades.

Given its just a demo account why would anyone object to not posting a full daily PnL blotter, it is not like its real money which might be considered a private matter.

All of you should put on wigs, put mousse to style it, apply some makeup, turn on all the lights, turn on your video cameras....and become Social Media Celebrities teaching the sea of Millennials, Gen Z, and Boomers about trading to become millionaires.

You all would become millionaires teaching about trading than actually doing it.
