The one with MExico is meant to keep Mexicans in their country where capitalism is without all those pesky communist features like unions, social security, education for all, job protection, minimum wage, etc etc. They are living capitalist paradise to cme to US precisely for the above socialist features that we have.... something to think about.

How about a cesspool filled with laziness and corruption at all governmental levels.
You cannot call a country like Mexico a paradise, when nothing can get done without bribing and corruption. Essentially, the Mexican citizen cannot "capitalize" on anything. That is why they come to the US, where they can "capitalize" on their hard work in a free market.
And yes, US corporations will continue to go into Mexico and make as much money as they can because that is what those capitalistic corporations do. And while they are doing that, more and more Mexicans will continue to come to the US where they will "capitalize" on the US corporations who hire them.
Don't you get it? While the rich get richer and the corporations make more and more money, it means there are more jobs and money for the workers.
Seems like everyone wins in a capitalistic society. Even the people who are losing (comparatively) will have their standard of living upgraded.

The trade deficit does not matter, yeah ok, anytime one of you geniuses wants to establish a similiar agreement on a one to one basis, please let me know. Mexico not an almost pure capitalist state? It is only a prime location for Free Trade Zones. And money a.k.a. CAPITAL is the ruling power. Nah, it's really a socialist regime.

So once again I lived behind the Wall I left country illegally (got 2 years prison time for that) because the Wall was there to keep people from escaping socialist paradise (you still believe in)

Hmm, yeah, look up NAFTA. Unless Asia and the Americas somehow become connected via land, Mexico, Central America & parts of South America will always have a special place in the US corporate world of offshoring. So no, it's not old news, it's current events and will continue as such. I do not mean to say the growth is comparable to Asia's but to say it's old news is just ignorant. There is a much higher chance of operations being shut down in China before they are shut down in Mexico or Nicaragua.
Mexico and USA are heavily connected on these terms, even as the cost of labor in Mexico is rising, noone is shutting down any operations there, only growing them. Transportation isn't free, in case you have not realized. NAFTA's newer areas of interests involve some of the poorest nations in the world, in Central America, as well as some nations in South America.
I said to get a history book that is on a higher level than standard high school history book. Read my posts carefully.
I also spent 15 years of my life living in Easter Europe before the wall came down, so I think I know a thing or two about socialism in that part of the globe.
As for the education system in the US, well since you asked, generally it is on a much lower level than the system I was educated under. I wonder why the communists wanted to educate the masses so much???? Must be all that hate and disdain they felt for the workers and the peasants right? (I hope you sense my sarcasm here).
Now, one last thing, how happy are former ossies under the new capitalism system???? Isn't it true that some of them actually are stating that East Germany had many positive aspects????
I am sorry you were imprisoned for 2 years. Basically you got 2 years for being against th system. Now if you were against the system in a place like Guatemala (who is a close ally and recipient of military aid from the US), and were accused of being a communist, you would be shoot, end of story. Close to 200,000 people were eliminated in Guatemala for trying to improve their lives. Talk about a brutal regime!!!!! Like I said before, go to your local library and read some books that present history on a deepr level THAN a typical high school text. Read, read, read.
