Trade CME / ICE options through IB?

I just take a look on IB's website ans saw that under products -> options CME or ICE are not mentioned.

Does this mean that you can't trade CME / ICE options through IB?

I would expect that if you could trade the futures on a certain exchange, the options are also possible (same systems, etc). But obviously this is not the case?
 
OK, didn't see that tab.

So CME equity / curreny options are available trhough IB. But no commodity options.

And ICE options are not available at all...
 
We will offer ICE Russell and commodity futures options soon. They will be listed as NYBOT options.

What about that silly 1 GBP a month for the ICE/NYBOT data feed?

How about making it free or at least charging in USD.

Just for my understanding...

It seems that sometimes products on a specific exchange are added (almost) 1 by 1.

As an (maybe naive) outsider you would expect that all products from an exchange are offered immediately to the customers when IB has a general agreement with the specific exchange.

Why does it occur that futures on certain commodities can be traded through IB while the same (accompanying) options can't?
 
It is much simpler to deal with futures. Trader's interest and volume of trades also affect the issue.
