Hi folks,

I am a new member on this forum. I am considering to open an account to trade at home. Unfortunately, I don't really know where I should begin with :) Every trading company I have searched on the Internet states all the positive factors about their companies. They say they have the best trading software, low commission, etc. Would anyone please give some advise/recommendations ?
 
Please give more information about the kind of trading you are going to do, whether listed or nasdaq or futures, whether you require charting or just raw quotes, whether you will be holding positions overnight, etc.

I'm pretty new myself here but do yourself a favor and click the green "brokers" link at the top of your screen.
It lists many and has ratings and comments from users.
Apply common sense also since its possible to stuff the ballot box in a good or bad way there.
