NQ - it is Nasdaq Futures

NQ is of course the E-mini Nasdaq 100 futures contract. It is not based on the full Nasdaq composite index, but an most of the largest 100 companies in the composite index. The Nadaq 100 index is known as 'NDX' for short.

There was also a E-mini Nadaq Composite futures contract, its actually still be listed on the CME but no one trades it anymore (symbol: QCN)
