Tough times ahead for daytraders

<i>"The spooz had a 80 handle range today two years ago it would move 40 handles over 6 months!"</i>

Can easily make more money in a 25pt ES trend session than 80+pt wild slammer like today. This is too much like work.

Just another vote that this is an awesome equity trading environment. In the past couple weeks there have been quite a few 500k+ days for the bigger guys in my office and 50-100k days for the younger guys.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well. Are you a basis trader?

Started in spooz and the nasty 6 years ago. Then I traded basis then stopped and traded outright now basis again but I trade a lot of different futures products primarily yield curve and spooz and mini dow but dip my toe into oil and gold every once in a while.

Then Buffet and Lynch are fools in your book.

They are not TRADERS.

They are investors, and you obviously don't know the difference.

Too funny. We're pretty alike. I haven't traded the basis in a number of years but our smörgåsbord of futures products are the same.
