Total US Debt Rises Over $18 Trillion; Up 70% Under Barack Obama

Drive your car through the rear view mirror, as well?
now you are cracking me up. Who was that crazy guy who drove the tow truck in the Movie "Cars"? he had some great quotes, like "You don't need to know where you are going as long as you know where you have been."

Step number 1: get elected
Step number 2: do things to the extreme
Step number 3: convince them you need more time, only you can save them
Step number 4: get voted out, retire on sweet pension

who cares? put me in GS prop desk years ago with power and i'm not going to be afraid to take risks (maybe after 1 year of networking).....and then triple down, do whatever.....it's not your debt, so who cares. take a few 100 million bonuses and then really gamble. do it big.....life is short. if you fail, take your 300 million and ... who cares what you do. give seminars for 500k a pop!!!

Actually it's:
--get a law degree
--fail in the private sector
--quick, start running for office(s)
--get in power, start cutting deals, lavish stuff on yourself and your constituents
--ignore the debt, it's not a real emergency until you have to borrow 60% of your payments, the banks are used to that...
--retire on sweet pension

I hear ya on "sweet pension" It pisses off any normal clear thinking hard working American, and they should all be exterminated just on the principle of the thing. But in terms of the trillions they spend as opposed to the billions they receive, it is all just small potatoes.

Anyone who keeps lending money to a spendaholic nation who now can't pay back such a big debt, must be crazy !!

Instead of more bombs and bullets, how about spending some on water distribution, roads, pensioners etc.

uh, we don't have "pensioners" over here in USA, that's an English thing

we do have "prisoners" though, and it's a thriving business

and next time you need your ass bailed out in a war call Greece
