Total amount money in 401K, mutual fund, hedge funds, etc ?

Hi, All:

Is there any place where we can find the total amount of money in 401K, in mutual funds, hedge funds and other institutional investment funds ?

The reason I asked this question is that I feel money in different categories will act differently on the same market condition. By knowing these information, we can get better prediction of the market movement.

No. False. Since the huge majority of money is "professionally" managed today compared to many years ago, the expected behavior is the same across each "category".
