TOS assignment fee

l think it is unfair to have a $15 assignment fee, how often are TOS clients assigned?

Then close the position. If the assignment fee is less then the total commission, then take the assignment fee. If not, close it out yourself. Not that difficult.

many brokers dont charge for that, why should tos charge for that?

how many times have you been charged it? closing it can be a bad choice as it can just be a whipsaw?

Huh? Whipsaw? Just use a market on close order and you will get the same price as you would for assignment. You understand that right?
