The screenshot of the combine shows only trades done on ES, the FTP is CL.
Here is a screenshot of the combine trades on CL.

Also note: During the combine i used different position sizes, anywhere from 3-5 contracts per trade.
During the FTP i will only trade 1 or 2 contracts per trade since the max position size at the start of the funded account will be 2 contracts.
Yesterday i did 5 trades with 2 contracts and 2 trades with 1 contract all on CL.
I only get 1 or 2 entry signals on ES per trading session, CL gives me much more entry signals.

Ah, yes - of course: sorry - I'd overlooked the fact that you traded three instruments in the Combine of which only one was showing. That accounts for it - thanks. And good luck (looks like you may not need too much, after that first day?). :cool:

Thank you, we will see what next week brings, still 500$ to go :D and then the first 10 days of the funded account are the most important :thumbsup:
I indeed did trade three instruments in the combine, however now i left ZB out, so in the future i will only trade CL and ES. In a few weeks i also might add gold, not sure yet.
 
Thanks for all the replies and discussions on TopStep service.

I recently was informed about this service, I reviewed the information and called them.

Once I consider a few other things, I will make final decisions.

They way I see it, this is a good service for a new trader with small capital and needs a headstart for their business.

1. If you don't trade with discipline and money management per their rules, you want get funded. the monthly cost is the cost of doing business and IMO not important at all.
2. If trade well, you keep the inital $5k and 80% of profits after that.
3. There is no contracts for your service and you can leave with 80% of your profits whenever you like.

Seems fair enough to me.

Thank you RDK91 for the effort and time for showing us your account. You are doing a really good job by taking this challenge and meeting your goal.

Great work and continue with your success. I am planning to join TopStep once I confirm a trading platform I can use for my work (9-5pm) internet situation. I wish I can use ThinkorSwim as one of their platforms.

Here you can find an answer to most of your questions.
If you earn the funded account and you make 5k profit you can withdraw the 5k and keep 100%, however you need to keep money in the account to be able to keep trading.
With a 30k combine the drawdown is 1.5K and you need to be positive after 10 trading days, the money you have in the account by then is the maximum drawdown.
So for example if you manage to make 500$ during the first 10 days of the funded account your max drawdown will become 500$ from that point for day 11.

The combine is paid for every moth, so if you do not meed the profit target within the month you have to pay again but you can continu trading the same account.
With the funded trading program there is a maximum of 60 trading days to achieve the profit target.

It's been discussed here, probably a dozen or so pages back. Funded Traders pay "professional" data fees at $85/month per exchange.
