What was the penaltyThx for the support nobody.
Anyway, Topstep is cool with my first error so i can go on. Of course with a little penalty.
So I came across TopStepTrader when researching other prop firms and looked up their stats.
* 18% move from combine to funded
* 50% fail in funded
* 2015 around 320 funded traders
I don't believe 1 out of 5 combiners get funded.
I bet the 1 year failure rate is 80-90%.
The last time it was independently audited, it was 19%.

if everything is working so good for TST, why do they need to change the rules?
congrats, I took you off of my Ignore list, I will give you another chance.
You probably meant Emmett here, but he was paid in pizza
This quote is from another thread, but I guess the numbers are from TST's website:
1. I don't believe 1 out of 5 combiners get funded. It is probably 1 in 10, unless they count repeat combiners as 1.
2. 50% failing funded is irrelevant without a timeframe. Maybe they meant 3 months. I bet the 1 year failure rate is 80-90%.
Talking of transparency, lets do some checks and balances: 1) Xela knows the audited results and the rule changes; 2) their first ever post on ET was about TopStepTrader; 3) search Google for Xela and TopStepTrader and you get 100s of results from posting at various different trading sites.
Simply, Xela = TopStepTrader.

My own guess is that they wanted to try to increase the Combine pass-rate in ways which wouldn't significantly impact their risk management of backing its successful participants.
