That's good that Ninjatrader will be available.

I have done a few combines, never met profit objectives but learned a lot and the combine definitely helped my trading.

Was much more inclined to participate when it was 80. for a combine, though. Going from 80. to 190. is a pretty steep increase; a bit much if you ask me.

But yeah, I do like what the combine does for traders. It sets the rules, and you have to make it work every day. I have become a lot better with discipline and rules since the combines.

Were you able to meet the other combine criteria except for the profit objectives? Did you get any refunds or rollovers for a new combine?

I think the idea of a combine is a great idea, as long as those who qualify get funded based upon the site's criteria. The subjectivity is nonsense. Why so vague? And if this is the second coming of Christ then why isn't Patak funding some of these guys with a portion of that $30k a month he's making? Why is the backer funding 100%?

Are the funded accounts seg with $50k? I am sure they would have to be. Who clears these backed-accounts?

How much rope are the staked traders given before they're "demoted"?

atticus- We are scouting for traders, much like scouts at a NFL Combine, there is subjectivity involved. We do our best not to let any talented trader slip by and we are extremely transparent on what we are looking for and what is expected. As for how much rope etc... you can review this: http://www.topsteptrader.com/fundedtrader

Hi Michael

Can you confirm that the all in round turn (RT) cost for ES is $5?

I would love to do a combine and get funding however I only make 0.5 of a tick per trade so the maximum RT costs I can have are 0.2 of a tick ideally 0.15 of a tick or less.

Also do you allow traders who trade the eurostoxx50(FESX) contract? I currently pay around 0.14ticks RT all in. Sometime my expectancy can drop to 0.3 of a tick intraday hence I need RT costs of sub 0.15tick.

of course I could change my trading style but I dont want so change my 'flow'

thanks and good luck with TST, great concept, fair pricing imo.

How many prop jobs can you handle at one time? Baller! You must be swinging 500s at a clip with a 6.25 expectancy per car.

NinjaTrader...

That is important for me and many others. The layout and logic of your T4 app is fine, but trying to work both that and trade thru NT app side by side is above my ability. The T4 logic of "T" and "S" buttons to enable trade or stop orders instead of one-click in the bid or ask threw me.

Today I found myself trying to enter orders before clicking "T" for trade that went unfilled, and clicking stop order attempts with "T" enabled and wrong order entered, etc. In other words, I fat-fingered half my order attempts in the fast market conditions with CL.

I've seen enough to know that this is a valuable program for select traders who are interested. I'll resume the process myself when NT platform is enabled, and will keep an eye on this thread for that announcement to be made :)

I used to do the one week tryout I think it was only 25 bucks at the time. If you met the profit goal in that week then the rest of the four week combine was only 25. I did that twice and paid outright for a couple. Had some great runs but ultimately lost it before the end each time. I have a biz to run which requires me to be gone most of the day, so I was frustrated about not having full dedicated time for the combine. I suggest that nobody try this unless you have time. TsT has created many flexible options since I last participated, though. I may do it again, though I don't like the new deposit pricing. Have my own small stake I'm chipping away with right now, anyway.

Cool, you ignored the bulk of my questions. Are you or your backer registered with the NFA?

I am registered at a floor broker. The firm does NOT need to be as it is trading strictly proprietary capital.

Thanks. I searched but used first for last name on BASIC, mea culpa. One last question, and I wouldn't ask but it's not mentioned on the site, but are the production accounts segregated?
