TopStep Combine- Starting 10/29

OK, was this all you or did my Chop/Range lesson help a little? Feel free to make yourself look good, I can take it. I've already resigned myself to the fact that you're voting for Stewart despite my desperate attempt to convert you to Colbert :D

Great work for such limited time frame. It appears you're a natural range scalper. Stay away from those trend days!

Your lesson most definitely was helpful today. Excluding trading costs I came out at $420 for the day. I was up to $540 and shooting for my target of 60 ticks for the day but then price stopped heading down and reversed some so I took my profits.

I am going to vote early tomorrow morning before work! I am glad you have come to terms with my decision though haha.

NoDoji--

For your style of chart trading, would the ability to place orders directly onto the chart make sense to you?

Thank you,

Surf

It makes sense, I've thought about it a lot, but I've never tried it. I think it would be something worth playing with.

That's a very exceptional result.

Did you find your trading to be significantly different without the pressure to meet specific milestones within a certain time period?

It made a difference for sure, but I don't think that was the whole reason for my failure that day. Another big part was I think I was anxious to place trades and couldn't focus from work and just wasn't thinking clearly on identifying setups. Today I looked at the chart until I saw a setup and decided well I am going to trade afterall. I made a couple errors on my trades that I should have known to not do though but still recovered.

Needless to say, sitting back and being calm to get started off really helped me today. Patience on waiting for setups to occur worked wonders

Haha well it was going fine until I decided to trade without good signals on friday and blew out my max loss.

And I appreciate that, but I respectively disagree. NoDoji has taught me alot about CL. I know it might not be the method you choose, but I have seen it work well for her so it is worth a shot to me. Today I stuck to what I know well and it came through for me.

wtf is all the al brooks monies! om nom nom. You're a good guy FCX, but you hitched yourself to the wrong wagon.

Its the same dynamic that attracts the naive to hershey-- nonsense speak, bad english and confusion that can have multiple interpretations seems to attract a certain segment of market participant....

FCX's trades on Friday were the ones that take money from his account and deposit it into Al Brooks' account. They were not setups to be found in any price action trading resource. :D

Give the kid a break, he never even sim traded CL from a live feed until 10/29, and he'd had no instruction in specific price action setups at all.

When are the acolytes actually going to make some money? I think FCX is good people, so it's disconcerting that you're feeding him a line of BS.
