Congratulations. How long did it take you to get to the funded status, and was it your first try? Are you going to stick with them for long term after you take out the initial amount at 100%?
Have you thought about trading on your own and starting with the micro contracts and building to the minis? You are doing something right that you made it to funded status, so it would seem you could trade your own money and be profitable. Obviously no requirement to answer my questions, and I am not looking to pass judgement.

I hope they don't pull a Funding Talent on you! Agree about the process being lonely. Why these sorts of forums are often good for our mental health. If nothing else as a soundboard for our ramblings!

Thank you and no, I was actually funded last august but blew it. This is my second funded account.

Not only have I though of trading my own account, I actually did. I blew my account and was able to pass the combine.

What I learned the hard way is I have to pick one. Futures trading is something you don’t “alt-tab.” Given my situation of having just one computer and one screen, switching between programs with little differences will confuse you especially with futures.

I just had this conversation with my kid this morning. He said howcome your charts get simpler and simpler, and this was my reason. I believe one day I will be able to trade multiple things well at the same time, but right now I am focusing on one thing.

Speaking of which... $1200 today, I'm probably done for the day.

Sorry for the slim and barely noticeable trade lines. I don't think I can adjust them.

Well, I think I jinxed it but we'll see next week. I guess no updates for the time being since my account parameters won't reset until then.

I'm just really pissed at myself for not following one simple rule I gave myself. NO SCALPING NO SCALPING NO SCALPING.

At some point earlier today I was up $700 and change.

If in the future I end up using multiple monitors, I think I'll just use the other for browsing or YouTube.

Does the no scalping rule actually help? Sometimes you can scalp, sometimes you should swing. I start out scalping and leave enough on hoping that it converts to a swing. Past few days have been pretty good for that.

I don't really scalp that's the thing. My trades last a while. Here's a screenshot of the combine that I passed. I HOLD trades.
