China killed the doctor who tried to blow the whistle on this virus when it first popped up. And you then believe the stats the Chinese gubment gives you? Don't be naiive.
And no China did NOT reverse-engineer pfizer/moderna because China's vaccines (there are three actually) are developed with completely different technology from pfizer/moderna. Pfizer/Moderna vaccines are developed with mRNA technology whereas China's vaccines are developed with Adenovirus technology. So no, this time those fucking commie bastards did come up with the vaccines on their own.
I know we are in a kind of an argument/dicsuission at the moment, but that line is just hella funny. ROFL!
No that doctor was not killed. He succumbed to the virus. They tried their best to save him but he couldn't be saved. He had an extremely high viral load of the virus in his body because he was in close contact with patients who were infected with the virus very much the same as the frontline healthcare workers here.
No I don't believe all the stats that came out of that country but I do believe they didn't try to kill that doctor.
Well when it comes to China, you can't believe everything they say but you can't not believe anything they say. The most difficult part is figuring out which to believe and which not to believe.

China backtracks on comments questioning effectiveness of local vaccines

Chinese state media have rushed to defend their locally developed coronavirus vaccines, with a senior health official insisting it was “misunderstood” when he appeared to question the effectiveness of the shots.
Gao Fu, head of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, told a conference over the weekend that the government was considering mix vaccines and vary dosage regimens to cope with “low efficacy” of existing injections. It was a rare official recognition of the difficulties faced by China’s immunization program.
But on Sunday, Gao said his words were “taken out of context” and misunderstood.
“After talking about different vaccination strategies, I brought up the issue of vaccine protection rates and expressed my thoughts on how we can optimize our delivery process,” he told Guancha.com, a Chinese media.
Chinese vaccines, which Beijing has pledged to deliver to dozens of countries, have been criticized for their varying rates of effectiveness. Some barely exceed the World Health Organization’s 50% effectiveness threshold, while developers have been slow to release data from Phase 3 trials.
