How do you detect the patterns in time to get in early before the move is already over? Do you just watch a few names?
 
Yes, I continuously scan through charts premkt to look for setups. In time you learn pattern recognition for early setup signals. It's hard af
 
Amazing, I have both Fidelity and IB, mainly use Fid for REITS, BDC, CEF, ETF, anything with a spread I avoid with Fidelity due to leaving more money on the table even if its "free" . IB has its fault but timely execution is a must. Both have extremely lousy charting platforms, therefore utilize TC2000 and Sierra.
