sorry, i don't understand what leverage got to do with this opportunity..is it for the larger stops? martingaling? it's my view and much in circumstances like this, that size should not be much of a determining factor for goals, risk parameters and the handling of positions. what is it 'bout leverage that concerns you?

That was a reference to my own personal debacle today. Not the opportunity at hand per se. That is to say my conviction also lies long however I backed it up with too much leverage and in the end I had an equity swing of 50% yet only netted 0.5% after commish.

The point is leverage needs to be applied carefully.

Lastly your call is long I suppose. That to shall be seen as the markets are roiled. Yes there was institutional buying and short covering into the close but with the possible credit tightening we could see worse although as of today I am net long.
