I did 70 points in 50 trades. Largest win was 2.5 points, largest loss 0.5 points. 14 scratch 36 wins. started about 530 pm PT ended at about midnight. All and all an very good night. Like I said, too bad only every 4 years. Pandemic aside, there seems to always be "something" to worry about.

Funny thing was watching all the numbers and charts on the election go nowhere, I decided to trade instead. :D
 
Future's skyrocketing again....

Don't chase stocks here, its absolutely foolish to do so. Stocks will come back down after the surge....
 
As of now which is 11:52 ET on Thursday 11/5/2020, where DOW future is 28290, I believe a short term bubble has formed and market seems a short. I see many stocks are ahead of themselves for no real reason. I am not talking about a crash but like 4% down.

My retirement account erased all losses from last weeks drop in the market and it keeps surging so I thought for fun to play the short side with more short etfs. I mean I just don't see how my retirement account can keep surging the way it has.

Yes but to be fair, those were not really "pandemics" to the magnitude and scope of this current one in terms of the impact on the economy and our lives. I mean we couldn't even get out of our house for chrissake. Those were just very severe bout of infectious diseases with far lower rate of death.
 
I sold 70% of my long positions today. Did the market peak today? At least for short term. I was expecting a rally but this was a little overheated. I am selling out of the money short term ES Call and Puts to make an income.

Yes, it peaked today. If you notice, we're at a triple top. When Biden is declared, we'll drop like a rock into X-Mas. Prolly 20 percent or so.
