In my opinion, stadium security did fall down in the job. This guy made some ridiculous claim that if a player tosses a ball to a fan rather than handing it to her, it's open season. It wasn't a foul ball at a baseball game. The player clearly intended it to go to the female fan. This was stealing, pure and simple.
The stadium wimped out and gave her a ball, but by letting him get away with this theft, they condoned it and encouraged others to get physical over trophies. Bad move.
The ET klanboys always come out whenever something like this happens.
