Tony Stark has covid again

Well,Im over it.Other than body-aches this time wasn't as bad as the first. This bout was also half the time as last time I was sick for 2 weeks.I also haven't lost my taste and smell like last time.

Its likely I'm fully immune for another 2 years, without 2 jabs and 8 boosters.

See yall in 2024 for Tony has covid part 3.

Unfortunately a bunch of people on here are still posting a lot of bs about Covid that the data refutes. I find it strange that those who got Covid more then once are considering this a good result. I'd rather have my experience of no known Covid infections, took three shots, very healthy no side effects ever from doing so. And the peace of mind that the possibility of getting a serious case of Covid was negligible because I got the shots even if I did catch Covid.

This whole conversation reminds me of people extolling the virtues of American heath care versus Canadian health care but Canadians live 3 years longer then Americans. You know, real data not what people want to believe emotionally.

We can all read "Tsing Tao" and others acting like Covid was not an issue because they didn't personally drop dead from it. Ignoring the fact that a million Americans did drop dead and many caught it from irresponsible people who went out of their way to spread the disease.

We are currently at probably the most Covid transmission ever in America. Covid is high literally everywhere in America:

Data shows the vaccine does not prevent you from catching covid as its spreading like wildfire across The US right now even though a super majority of the country is vaccinated.

As far as catching it twice I was immune for over 2 years and multiple strains. The vaccine doesn't last that long.

Source? Right now you're drawing an inference, and your control group should be "as compared to unvaxxinated & uncontracted populations". Why uncontracted? Because your thesis is no protection vs the virus, something which prior infection provides.

I get that it's running rampant, this does not disprove the vax isn't slowing the spread (think masks). When the vax was developed, it proved efficacious against the spread of the original strain. We hoped mutations would not make it vax evasive over time but knew it was a very real possibility. It's disingenuous to claim the original vax is ineffective knowing all this in seeking affirmation of being "proven right" on a choice taken.

I do think its mostly ineffective in preventing transmission.A million cases a day when a super majority of the country is vaccinated supports that imo.

I do think it is effective in preventing serious illness, hospitalization and death.
