Tony Oz Seminar

I think it's worth some money, but if I reply more I'm going to get so off topic. I'm going to start a different thread eventually about some of the different semianars I've attended including the ones given by IITM.

I'll come back and edit a link into this post for the thread.


TIKI this is a thread about Tony Oz not Ken.

Every trader is different just as every human is different. There are different styles of trading and what fits one person won't fit another.

We had quite a few posts a week ago on Ken and after Ken complaining they have been deleted. Keep this thread on Tony Oz and seminar value.



 
OK then- Tony Oz it is.

Trading is about money. The goal is to make money, or *at least* keep it in your pocket.

Tony's book and his seminar are pretty much the same thing. One costs $1700, the other is $100.

Tony is a swing trader? I think you need to read the book again :)

He goes out daily into the arena to pit himself against his mortal enemies- his swings his mighty sword on an intraday basis only holding his vigor until the next morn if the stock at hand has shown a close in the upper 80% of its trading range.. tis' then that the strong warrior will hold his bounty till the next fortnight...

Ken likes to trade 2 day breakouts by monitoring a basket of 30 stocks. I find that breakouts don't occur that often in this choppy market. It is also difficult for me to keep track of 30 different stocks. Intraday swing/support-resistance trading fits my style more.

Do you know if Tony uses other types of tech analysis (stochastics, RSI, MACD, etc.) in his trading aside from identifying support/resistance and basic chart pattern recognition?

I know that Tony has and/or does also use RSI (14 day), as well as moving averages (20, 50) for additional support/resistance levels. If he has adopted other indicators since I've studied with him and his trading, I'm unaware of them.
 
I took the last seminar Tony Oz held and I highly recommend it. It was well worth the time and money I have invested in it. I think the movie is better than the book :).

There was a guy in our class (Bruce) who took Tony's seminar last year and came for a refresher seminar. He said that there was a lot of new stuff he didn't learn in the first seminar he took.

I plan on attending Tony's next seminar because he will do live trading. I don't want to miss this opportunity. If I understand it correctly, the seminar is only open for graduates of his other seminars, but I could be wrong.

As far as tiki's comparison of Ken's chatroom to Tony Oz seminar, all I can say is that I did both and I would recommend Tony Oz seminar over Ken's chatroom any day of the week. It is quite obvious that Ken does not actually trade (he excuses it with the SEC baloney), Tony does trade. Who do you want to learn from?

I could go on, but this thread is about Tony and not Ken (we all saw the true colors of Ken on this forum), so lets leave it at that.

One more thing, Tony requires an interview before you take his seminar. How many "educators" or chatroom operators do you know that do the same?

I recommend the seminar, but then again, I am bias because Tony Oz is my hero!
